If you have not already done so, download the Memory Pat utility from the First Stop Safety website:

Downloading the Memory PAT

Connect the PAT to a PC using the USB cable provided with the Memory PAT.

Open the download utility and click DOWNLOAD.

Once the download has completed select the correct download from the list and click Export to CSV.

By default the .CSV file will be saved in:

Import the .CSV into SimplyPats

From the Pat Settings screen, select the First Stop Safety Memory PAT and click on the Open Button.

From the File Open dialogue, navigate to your Memory PAT folder to select your saved data file, (In the example below 09-07-2012 15.13.07.csv) and click on the Open Button.

Raw Data Backup

SimplyPats automatically creates a back up of the raw data downloaded from your PAT tester and places it in the backup folder within SimplyPats.This is usually in the folder C:Program FilesSimplyPats 6Backup

  • Peer-to-peer communication. STOP® for Each Other encourages a mindset where safety is an everyday discussion, not just completing a formal observation.

Important STOP® for Each Other concepts include:

  • Seeing Safety. Participants become so attuned to safety that they automatically notice safe or unsafe practices throughout the workplace and home.
  • We depend on each other. Peers rely on themselves and each other to stay safe.
  • Show me you care, make me aware. The program gives peers permission to talk with each other about safety.

Audience

STOP® for Each Other is especially well suited for delivery to any peer group or personnel in team-based or flat organizations that have personal responsibility for their safety and the safety of co-workers. STOP® for Each Other also works well for organizations that have used STOP® for Supervision and wish to train non-supervisory personnel or to conduct refresher training in safety.
